“My primary opponents rely on out-of-state ‘conservatives’ for their support,” Martin says. “Local Republicans by and large are not enthused by their candidacies. The advisers to both of my opponents have lied to their own supporters. Sanborn backers pretend that he only used foul language ‘on one occasion,’ when there is a diary documenting years of Sanborn’s inappropriate behavior.

“Likewise, Eddie Edwards’ replacement at the Liquor Commission stated he inherited a “dysfunctional” agency from Edwards, with poor agency morale (please see link [1] below). So, who’s right? Edwards or his successor? Edwards’ supporters pretend he was a great leader. The Liquor Commission says otherwise; he was barred from reemployment with the state. What does all of this mean? Please allow me to explain.”

Martin exposes the hypocrisy of so-called conservatives that run rigged polls and muzzle free speech, all to nominate a sure loser for congress in the Republican Party

(MANCHESTER, NH)(August 27, 2018)

Dear New Hampshire Citizen:

1. In my last letter to you I explained how the supporters of
my opponents have done everything to derail my campaign. They have failed.

Last week I advised you that I would be part of the Granite State Debate sponsored by WMUR, the Union Leader and the NHIOP next month.

The primary has clearly expanded from a “two-man” race to a three-candidate race. (In a subsequent announcement I will explain why it is really a “one-man” election.)

So, who went after me the day after I was announced as a debate participant? The self-styled right-wing of the Republican Party, in the name of a blog called GraniteGrok. To the best of my knowledge the “Grok” had not mentioned my name in seven (7) years. So why, the day after I was invited to participate in the Granite State Debate, did a Grok writer suddenly develop an interest in my campaign? Obviously, something had agitated the self-proclaimed right-wing Groksters.

2. Skip Murphy, one of the founders of Grok, attacked my “experience” and ridiculed my disclosure of New Hampshire State official records which disclosed an intern had been taken to a basement room in Andy Sanborn’s saloon for a bizarre meeting. Murphy says he doesn’t like “my language.”

You can attack me on many levels. No candidate is perfect and in a lifetime of public service I have made my share of mistakes and attracted my share of detractors. But I don’t believe anyone can seriously argue that I am not the most experienced candidate in either the Republican or the Democratic primary.

I have broad international and foreign policy experience. I have been in and out of Washington and I know how to take command the day I take the oath. So, yes, while you are obviously free to vote for one of my opponents, most people would agree that if you want to send “experience” to Washington, I am the most experienced candidate to help the congress move ahead.

3. So what is really bothering the Groksters? In a nutshell: The First District is not a “Ted Cruz” district. That’s why the Grok feels threatened by my candidacy and campaign. I am actually talking common sense to Republicans and independents in the First Congressional District, not Republicans in Texas or Montana.

They are frightened by the fact I want to win the November election, not just endlessly debate “conservative” issues.

Neither of my two fellow debaters is remotely electable in the First District. Right-wingers love my opponents because they try to outdo each other pandering to conservative voters (the Grok-related “603 Alliance,” which I support, conducted a two-man “poll” and, surprise, one of the two “won,” but my name wasn’t even offered as an option). Unfortunately for my primary opponents, the views they are espousing in the primary will come back to haunt them, and defeat them, in the general election.

It is often said that the First District is a “Republican” District. That’s not really accurate. The district does lean Republican in registration, but the district’s Republican voters are New Hampshire conservatives, not Ted Cruz conservatives. The district “leans” Republican but it will not elect a right-winger. So, when my primary opponents try to “out-conservative” each other, they are declaring that they are incapable of defeating a Democrat in November.

About a month ago, long before I was included in the debate, WMUR asked me for some candidate background (please see link # 2 below). If you look at the “Why are you running for congress section” you will see I am profoundly concerned by the need for someone to stand up during a party primary and promise to begin the difficult task of ending the partisan deadlock and endless bickering in Washington. I am big enough and strong enough and experienced enough to do just that if you send me to Washington.

I really do want to “Make America Great Again” and the only way we can do that is to work with people we disagree with, and work to harness the collective energy of people whose views are across the political spectrum. I am the only candidate in either primary campaigning on a promise to promote reconciliation and a willingness to work with the other party, not just offering lip service to “bipartisanship.” In New Hampshire I have a winning message. My opponents had a bad week again (please see links [3] and [4]); judge for yourself. That’s why I claim we now have a three-man race, and you have a real choice, a New Hampshire conservative choice, for congress.

4. No sooner had I made those remarks than Andy Sanborn pounced and said I was a “moderate.” My response was, “I’m not a moderate on the issues; but, yes, I am all in favor of moderation when it comes to trying to work together with the Democrats.” All of my life I have been a bridge between people holding conflicting viewpoints. People have respected me because my own views are honorably held, but I have always been prepared to appear before groups with whom I disagree and listen to conflicting ideas.

Guess what? I am a conservative. An old-fashioned, New England, New Hampshire conservative of the type that used to dominate New Hampshire politics. Today, when faced with a choice between a cartoon version of Texas conservatism, and a cartoon version of New Hampshire leftism, voters have clearly allowed Democrats to dominate our state in the last two decades.

I actually stand a chance of winning, going to Washington and serving honorably as I represent your interests and the interests of every Granite Stater, and not just follow the ideas of conservative think tanks that are divorced from reality.

In closing, let me say a good word about my detractors. I do read the GraniteGrok; I also peruse CNN and MSNBC. You should too. I want to read contrasting viewpoints. I find a lot to like in the Grok; I get leads and ideas from their columns. They are not bad people. But in my opinion, they would rather be “right” than win an election. (Two years ago, the Grok promoted a “fake candidate” in the Second District; he was exposed as totally unqualified.)

When I take to the debate stage next month, I am debating to win, not debating to debate. For Republican primary voters, the case comes down to one issue: do you want to win with honor in November, or would you prefer to nominate a conservative and endure endless debates about who is the “most conservative” candidate running?

I fully expect that one of these days Andy Sanborn will pull out a “Mr. Rogers” sweater and present it to me. I’ll be proud to accept.

I hope you will pay serious attention to the debate. I will make New Hampshire proud and make you proud. I can and will serve with honor in the congress.

Andy Martin asks Union Leader Joe McQuaid for a front-page apology and retraction

(Manchester, NH)(August 26, 2018) — Republican congressional candidate Andy Martin will hold a news conference today, Sunday, to discuss the latest “fake news” in the Union Leader.

Here is Martin’s letter to Union Leader publisher Joe McQuaid (without Martin’s address). The letter will actually go in the mail on Monday but McQuaid will receive an emailed version today:

Dear Joe:

Your newspaper has once again published an incomplete and distorted version of how a serious news event has developed, and how it continues to develop.

Most respectfully I am writing to request you publish a front-page apology before the Sununu “roast” Thursday night. Your newspaper can’t survive if readers believe you are lying to them and have an agenda of eliminating “news” that doesn’t fit your personal antipathy.

On August 12th I held a Manchester news conference in which I accused Maura Sullivan of inflating her military credentials. I also sent Maura a letter and asked her to stop inflating her resume and stop misrepresenting the nature of her service in Iraq. It was and is perfectly acceptable for her to say she “served” in a combat zone in Iraq but it is not true that she “fought” in Iraq or that she “fought” in any war as she falsely claims on her web site. In addition, we notified local, state national and global media.

The Union Leader received notifying emails at several addresses.

When I held my news conference, not a single Democratic candidate had had the gumption to question Sullivan on her false military claims. So, to goad the frightened little puppies in the Democratic congressional primary, I also sent each of their campaigns, including Mr. O’Rourke’s campaign, a copy of my story. The little puppies have been unwilling to take on Maura by name, only referring to her elliptically in their comments.

It was only after my attack on Sullivan that O’Rourke began to challenge Sullivan.

Two weeks later, here is what Kevin Landrigan wrote:

“Terrence O’Rourke of Alton lit the first fuse…” Sullivan, of course, responded with her usual blather that anyone questioning her fraudulent résumé is sexist.

Accuracy is important not only because it informs your readers who really “lit the fuse,” exposing the Democrats for their timidity, but also because it allows readers to see which candidates actually pursue the issue in the future.

In case Mr. Landrigan suffers from amnesia, I also criticized Sullivan Friday night as Landrigan was preparing his fake news reporting:

There is a massive distinction between being in a combat zone, as virtually everyone was in Iraq, and claiming you “fought” in Iraq as Sullivan falsely says.

An accurate report on the controversy, which is not going away and which will be one of the major issues if I am nominated, would have been to say “Republican Andy Martin first raised the issue of Sullivan’s inflating her military resume in early August. Democrat Terrence O’Rourke followed up with his own barrage of criticism…”

The issue is straightforward; Sullivan received a ribbon for serving in Iraq. Did she also receive the Combat Action Ribbon for being in a combat situation? To date, Sullivan has not disclosed any accounting of her decorations. How does this sound: “Show us the ribbons, Maura.” If she won’t disclose, she is a fraud and should be rejected by Democrats as a Chicago-in-New-Hampshire disaster.

We can agree no one “owns” the “news.” But we both have a proprietary interest in truthful, factual and accurate reporting. If the Union Leader breaks a story, you want to be credited for that, not erased from the coverage by some other media.

If this was just the first time Landrigan had erased my presence in the primary I would be more gentle with my criticism. But as you know I have had to sue the Union Leader because of your extensive and blatant pattern of “fake news” and false reporting where I am concerned.

In Russia, they used to erase people that fell out of favor. You seem to be following the same approach. For whatever reason you or someone at your paper doesn’t like me. So the paper is trying to pretend I don’t exist. Is that a grown-up way to deal with reality? All kinds of people don’t like me, and I accept their right to do as they please. But not liking someone is not a license to lie about their existence or about their activity as a candidate in a congressional election.

I hope we can agree that lawsuits are not the way journalists want to cover a race, and readers would prefer facts and fair reporting to combat in the courtroom. But your refusal to act in an honorable and responsible manner as publisher of the Union Leader left me no option but to call into question your integrity in a court of law.

Why not admit you and Landrigan have made many mistakes and publish an apology and retraction on the front page so we can end our battling?

The reality is that with regard to disclosures about Sanborn and Edwards, I have driven the news coverage through my Right to Know agreements with the Attorney General. I basically created almost all of the controversy and conflict in the Republican primary. In the case of Sullivan, I have pursued her because I have more love and respect for the Marine Corps than she does.

Sullivan, moreover, has a serious psychological problem with the truth. The fake claim she “fought” in Iraq is only part of a relentless pattern of fabrication in her career claims. Everything about her is exaggerated and distorted, except her work for the Frito Lay/Pepsico company, which she never mentions.

We can fight lawsuits over the truth, or we can provide facts and accurate reporting to your readers. Which do you prefer?

Dear New Hampshire Citizen:

Stop and Think: I am running as part of a multi-candidate race. My major promise is to be a conservative Republican, go to the House of Representatives and — horrors — talk to Democrats.

You would be forgiven for saying “Martin must believe in miracles” to think I can accomplish that.

Well, as it happens, I do believe in miracles.

My first memory of life in Manchester is of going to a funeral.

Father Pascal (he had a longer Greek name) had founded a new church. My grandmother was one of Father’s most fervent supporters. The year was 1936, in the depths of a depression. Manchester was reeling from the collapse of the mills. The nation was imperiled by radicals and extremists.

Father Pascal and my grandmother (among about 100 founding families) had the temerity to start a new church, Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at Cedar and Union Streets (they have since moved to a beautiful new church on Island Pond Road). They went into debt! In the depths of the depression.

Well, eighty-two years later, Assumption Church is flourishing. Today is the last day of their Greek Festival. I invite you to come.

At 3:00 P.M. I will walk into the church as part of a tour. The tablets listing the names of founding families are on a stairway. I’ll be happy to show you mine.

Who would have thought that a bunch of impoverished immigrants could found a church in the depths of the depression, and that the church survives 82 years later? Sounds like a miracle to me.

When my grandmother died, Father Pascal preached services in Connecticut and Manchester. We were there to say good by when he died in 1951. The pageantry was unbelievable, which is why I remember the service. (I suspect half the people were there to say good by, and the other half just wanted to be sure he was gone.) There were endless processions of priests and bishops.

If you want to see the church, my family’s name on a tablet, and enjoy genuinely great Greek food, come by this afternoon and we’ll meet at 3:00 P.M.

Now you can see that in my DNA there is the belief that if you try hard enough and if your intentions are worthy enough, you can accomplish almost anything, even miracles.

I’m not suggesting that by talking to Democrats they are going to start signing the praises of President Trump. Not at all. What I am saying is that my congressional office will be a house of reconciliation, where conservatives and, yes, even liberals, can come to debate the future of our great people in a civil environment.

The process of healing has to start somewhere but, sadly, it never really does.

In primaries, candidates in both parties try to outdo each other savaging the opposition party and promising to inflict even greater punishment on D’s or R’s. There is always the ritual incantation of “bipartisanship,” “as long as you agree with me and I don’t have to agree with you.” (Ask President Obama how that worked out for him.) But the very essence of conversation is that we will not always agree. We won’t always succeed in persuasion.

But we can still talk.

Right now, the Democratic “base” cries out for impeachment of President Trump. But that process could endanger both our national and economic security. Someone has to sit down and quietly tell House members impeachment is a bad idea. In fact, the last time the Republicans tried impeachment, and impeached President Clinton, the tactic boomeranged even though Clinton was guilty as “sin.”

Democrats now want to adopt the very same approach that failed for Republicans. How’s that for the triumph of faith over experience?

I do not want to suggest I am going to be sitting around in my office all day, Mr. Rogers-style, waiting for Democrats to walk in. Once the president is aware his old neighbor is in the neighborhood, he’ll be on the phone. Actually, Trump needs me. I can and will do a lot to help the president. I almost always agree with his policies, but I do not as often agree with his tactics. And, as you can see, my tactics are very different.

But I am willing to try to bind up the wounds and try to heal this nation. Both parties have made significant mistakes. Neither has the right to claim moral superiority.

All of my life I have been someone who builds bridges, someone who is a reconciler. Four decades ago I helped warring factions speak to each other; no one could figure out what was happening, but in the background I was there talking to all sides.

So I have practiced what I am now preaching.

It doesn’t take a miracle to succeed if you believe in the goodness of people, and in the ultimate authority, and, yes, superiority, of our Constitution. Please give me a chance to try. I’ll make New Hampshire proud. We’ll get things done. For a change.

“I am stunned by how dishonest Maura Sullivan is. That she should be taken seriously by Granite Staters is disconcerting. When did our state put up a ‘For Sale’ sign in Hollywood or on Park Avenue in New York? (Manchester, NH)(August 24, 2018) — Republican congressional candidate Andy Martin is heading to court later today to file a lawsuit against the Mount Washington Valley Economic Council for debate discrimination.

“MWVEC invited five (5) Democrats but only two (2) Republicans to ‘debate,’” Martin charges. “This is a naked case of debate discrimination. “The MWVEC is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization. They should not be picking winners and losers in primary elections. It could cost them their tax exemption.

“Major local and area companies contribute to the MWVEC. They are getting tax deductions for giving money to a tax-exempt organization. But, through the back door the organization is favoring Democrats and trying to lock my campaign out of the conversation.

“I hope we will file before 4:00 P.M. today but, if not, we will be at the courthouse door at 8:30 A.M. Monday seeking an injunction and seeking money damages, so the contributors will be on the hook having to pay cash for excluding me from their debate.

“Whatever happened to fairness and decency in New Hampshire politics? I have debates in major cities, and I’m not good enough for Conway? On what meat do these local Caesars feed? These shameless people disgrace the people of New Hampshire when they try to rig debates in favor of my primary opponents and favor the Democrats,” Martin charges. “Frankly, lawsuits are a lousy way to conduct an election, but my opponents leave me with no other option. I will not surrender to their bias and abuse.”

The lawsuit also names major supporters of the MWVEC as coconspirators who tolerate the organization’s abusive behavior.

1. The Joker (Batman) is after me; but I am now after him

It has been a month since I wrote you a special letter from the First Congressional District campaign, and what a month it has been. The Joker (Wayne McDonald) keeps following orders to sabotage the Republican Party and destroy my campaign. All McDonald has accomplished is to destroy the Republican Party and make it into a laughingstock.

I’m not going anywhere. My family has been in New Hampshire for 102 years. But McDonald, The Joker, is on his way to the wastebasket, or worse, maybe even the hoosegow.

How is it that the Democrats manage to handle eleven (11) congressional candidates but The Joker pretends there are only two (2), not including me, running in the First District? That’s why Democrats win and Republicans lose. They bring people in; The Joker tries to keep people out.

2. The dumbest political contributor, Alicia Preston

But that’s not the best piece of news. I have a nominee for dumbest political contributor in New Hampshire to date (this is a fluid category and other dopes-in-waiting may be out there, in fact they almost certainly are, are you reading this Paul Steinhauser?).

Alicia Preston, whom some of you may know, has published the dumbest and most incompetent piece of commentary I have seen recently. Please see link [1] below. Maybe Preston is dumb because The Joker’s antics have deprived her of election information; that, after all is the self-destructive manual McDonald is using to defeat me. (“What if they gave an election and pretended one of the candidates didn’t exist?).

Preston says there are only “two” candidates. Well, there are more than two, at least three including me, who are campaigning fiercely.

Preston was completely ignorant of the fact that my Right to Know (RTK) negotiations with the Attorney General have devastated both the Sanborn and Edwards campaigns. My campaign, not the local fake news media in Manchester, opened a veritable Pandora’s Box into embarrassing factual information involving my two opponents. Not only has my RTK work effectively ended the Sanborn campaign, Preston was blathering in her column without even seeing the latest reporting on Saturday (she has been added to my email list, but she doesn’t appear to check the fake news media either.)

I have to work overtime, without pay, to get my news out quickly because John DiStaso of WMUR steals all of my work and pretends it is his own. I negotiated the “Sanborn papers” release with the AG, but DiStaso continues to lie to his viewers and readers and claim the disclosures coming out are a result of his work. Liar, liar TV station on fire.

Preston is so stupid she wrote a piece for Seacoastonline.com (a future nominee for most fake news media operation in New Hampshire when we sue them) suggesting Sanborn had only made one bad remark. She didn’t even know that there were years of bad conduct by Sanborn. We need a separate file box to catalog all the bad things he did to women (his assistant” was taken away because he sexually harassed her constantly, and so on..[see below])

So, I nominate Alicia Preston for dumbest political writer. Do you have a better suggestion?

3. Now for the good stuff – I suspect it’s gonna get nasty

Several weeks ago I attended an event. A member of the media came up to me with a pretty wild story. The media guy said Andy Sanborn’s bar (The Draft in Concord) had a lower level with rooms where bad things could happen. There were even rumors about Sanborn taping people, in what sounded like his own version of the “Boom Boom Room.” (Please see link [2] below.)

Both my campaign manager and I are seasoned analysts and investigators. My biography (www.AndyMartin.com) lists some of the places I have been. Just because we hear something that sounds crazy, we do not necessarily erase the claim from our memory.

After the event where Sanborn’s “room” was disclosed my manager and I talked about Sanborn’s possible “Boom Boom Room” and the possible existence of tapes Sanborn has made secretly, possibly for blackmail purposes. But we had nothing more to go on, so Sanborn’s Boom Boom Room issue went into the “Work In Progress” file on the computer. No action.

Until Friday, August 18th.

Late Friday, at almost 6:00 P.M., pursuant to our Right to Know agreement, the Attorney General released heavily redacted transcripts from interviews conducted with people involved in the Sanborn Scandal. We don’t know what the AG is covering up but we plan a lawsuit (John DiStaso won’t be able to steal that material because we will ask the court to keep in under wraps except for me.)

So what set off the bells ringing at my campaign War Room?

The transcripts revealed that the intern who was/is at the center of the Sanborn Scandal was invited by Sanborn to go to a “room” in the basement of The Draft, where Sanborn made “uncomfortable” leading remarks. (Yes, this is all there, under oath, in the RTK documents.)

It looks as though Sanborn did have/does have a Boom Boom Room.

The Sanborn Scandal is exploding like a political supernova. And, under my agreement with the AG, there are more documents to come. New Hampshire has seldom seen anything this lurid, and it is all brought to you courtesy of my campaign and campaign staff. We beat the pants off the local fake news media.

Boom!

4. The bottom line

I was featured on the CBS TV network 25 years ago. A decade ago I was at the center of the presidential race, with one of the most controversial interviews of the entire election on Fox News. Please see link [3] below. The New York Times put me on page one as one of the nation’s most dangerous conservative political operatives (wouldn’t you love to have me in Washington?).

I have debated on ABC television in Chicago, but a small town station such as WMUR says I’m not good enough for Manchester. When The Joker and WMUR try to prevent me from appearing in debates, they are showing how low class they are. They are engaging in a conspiracy to rig an election.

So, guess what. I am slow to anger and slow to take action. But I have had enough of New Hampshire’s media losers and crooked politicians starting with The Joker treating me with disrespect. No more Mr. Nice Guy. If WMUR wants to play dirty, I will hit them where it hurts, in their pocketbook. If the Joker wants to harass me, he will pay a greater political price than his demented mind can imagine. The gloves are off.

Republicans nationally have been called “the stupid party.” In New Hampshire, The Joker and his Concord cronies are proving, one more election cycle all over again, they are “the Losers’ Party.” What the Joker is doing to me is backfiring across the entire team of GOP candidates. McDonald may defeat the entire Republican ticket in November, all in an insane plot to destroy my candidacy.

A famous Navy man (no, not Eddie Edwards) once said “I have not yet begin to fight.” Well, in New Hampshire in the First District, the fight is on.

(Manchester, NH)(August 19, 2018) — Republican congressional candidate Andy Martin was invited to join the New Hampshire Farm Bureau Federation and he accepted. Martin becomes the first congressional candidate in either party to be committed to New Hampshire’s farmers.

“The Farm Bureau had an event for candidates a few days ago,” Martin says. “And I was invited to join. I joined.

“I grew up down the street from a neighborhood dairy. Summers always involved hanging around the bottling plant for fresh strawberry milk. “My uncle Lucian Marcoux owed a home which backed up to the pasture. One lot over from my home there were horses.

“But even then farmers were struggling financially.

“Later, I spent time in the Midwest and became acquainted with mass production agriculture. I have been exposed to farming from the neighborhood family farm to the 640-acre mega-farm (today farms are much larger).

“New Hampshire agriculture is important to our state’s quality of life. But farmers are threatened. Dairy farmers are caught up in the politics of tariffs between Canada and the U.S., as well as facing relentless cost pressures and significant regulation. Local governments are always seeking to extend their control over agricultural land. And on and on. Federal bureaucrats have an insatiable appetite for extending their demands down into every barn and pond.

“I am proud to say I will be New Hampshire’s voice on agriculture in Washington. Farmers will have a friend. Farmers will be able to pick up the phone, like everyone else in my district, and speak to me directly. No aides, no intermediaries, no levels of congressional office bureaucracy. Time will be set aside for direct contact.

“We’ll use technology to enhance access for everyone, not just lobbyists and special interests. Today congressmen are too far removed from their constituents. The former representative who said recently you had to ‘pay to play’ disgusted me.

“In the midst of all of the ‘national’ issues and our foreign challenges and conflicts we confront during a campaign, it is also important to stay grounded here at home in the Granite State. The Farm Bureau will help me do that.

“I am very proud of my new affiliation and I will do my best to see New Hampshire’s farmers get fair treatment in Washington and here at home,” Martin concluded.

Sex dossier exists, whereabouts unknown, in Sanborn investigation

Andy Martin challenges Eddie Edwards to debate, says Sanborn is through as a serious candidate

(Manchester, NH)(August 18, 2018) — Republican congressional candidate Andy Martin will hold a news conference, by appointment only, Saturday to discuss the latest “bombshell” disclosures in the case of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s investigation into State Senator Andy Sanborn.

“At 4:45 P.M. on Friday we got a document dump from the New Hampshire Attorney General (“AG”),” Martin says. “Then we got a call from the AG that they had released raw files by mistake, with a request we delete the raw files. We agreed and we got a second ‘redacted’ document dump about an hour later.

“I suppose that by now most people thought there were no more surprises in the Andy Sanborn sexual harassment case. They were wrong.

“The latest transcripts from witness interviews indicate that the victim of one of the senator’s abuses kept what I call a ‘sex dossier’ of all of Sanborn’s inappropriate remarks for approximately two (2) years. The current location of the sex dossier is unknown. Sanborn’s misbehavior was not a single incident. He was crass and inappropriate throughout his entire senate career. There is apparently a video of a tearful intern, again a new development. Sanborn is a man voters want to send to Washington? No one is that crazy, even in New Hampshire.

“Thursday New Hampshire Republicans held a bogus ‘debate’ from which I was excluded. Wayne McDonald and the people behind him are trying to discredit me to protect Sanborn. This is crooked politics of the worst order, and may involve a new and independent crime. In other words, the latest cover-up by Wayne McDonald and his coconspirators to destroy my campaign may be criminal activity under federal and state law. The cover-up may become worse than the original ‘crime.’

“I asked Sanborn to step down on June 16th. I negotiated a deal with the AG in late June. Both the AG and I have kept our sides of the bargain. We continue to work together pursuant to the state’s Right to Know (“RTK”) law.

“In addition, while I have not seen the missing portions of the witness transcripts that were redacted, I have seen the redactions themselves (whited out areas) and my quick guess is that in one deposition alone ten (10) pages of testimony were removed from public view.

“Because it’s August and because we’re very busy on Saturday, we have scheduled a ‘by appointment only’ news conference. If we are called and told someone wants to do an interview, we will be at City Hall at noon, sort of a ‘flagged down’ train stop. If we do not get a call, we will not stop there.

“Crooked politicians in the Republican Party are trying to silence and discredit me and promote and protect Andy Sanborn.

“While Eddie Edwards and I arrive the same conclusion by different approaches, we both agree Sanborn is both unelectable and that no responsible and respectable party would nominate Sanborn for anything. Ironically, Edwards himself is mentioned in one of the AG interviews, concerning a Derry appearance by both men.

“When I said yesterday that the congressional race was now a two-man contest between myself and Edwards, some may have thought I was delusional or engaging in hyperbole. The latest Right to Know evidence confirms I have been right about Sanborn since June. Only the ‘omerta’ of corrupt Republican Party leaders has kept Sanborn in the race.

“When Edwards feels confident enough of himself, I am anxious to debate him so we can determine who the best man is to represent the First District. Rather than excluding me from debates, it is now time to exclude Sanborn.

“Eddie are you ready?

The latest disclosures abut the Sanborn investigation will shock even the most jaded observers of America’s Peyton Place of politics, crooked New Hampshire.

“I am fighting to represent the voters and good citizens, and to clean up the corruption so Granite Staters can once again have a government they can be proud of. Sanborn must go.

“People are under the mistaken impression that Sanborn’s misbehavior was a one-and-done ‘mistake.’ The witness transcripts reflect years of misconduct and suspicious activity by Sanborn.

“Later this month I hope to have the resources to post the actual transcripts of the Sanborn investigation online, so every Republican primary voter can see what I have seen and decide if I am the best man to speak for them in congress. Unlike most political blather, we have sworn transcripts to accompany our accusations.

“I have national, major market experience in media and investigations. It took someone who had lived ‘outside’ New Hampshire to come home and clean up the ‘inside’ of insider politics that has contaminated Concord. I am very proud of the influence I have had cleaning up politics in this state; in the words of that great Navy man, ‘I’ve just begun to fight.’
